I am curious about the implications of using VS 2008 Standard over Professional? Clearly Professional is preferred, but I'm looking for any known limitations to doing Arena development with the Standard edition.

One example would be if... say... Arena required Crystal Reports. Standard does not include Crystal and therefore I would need to get Professional.

I spoke to the developers about this and they see no limitations with developing in the professional or the standard additions. FYI- Arena does not use crystal reports, Microsoft Reporting Services is used for reporting in Arena. I hope that this helps.
